Frequently Asked Questions
What results can I expect?
This treatment is ideal for those stubborn fatty pockets that just won’t go away with diet and exercise. It destroys fat cells permanently without damaging any vascular, nervous and muscular tissue. You can lose up to 2 Dress Sizes in 2 Weeks.
What is the Treatment Like?
The procedure starts with circumferential measurements of the body area to be treated. After the application of Ultrasound gel, the applicator is moved in a circular motion over the treatment area. The procedure is quite relaxing and some of our patients have actually fallen asleep. Post-treatment we will take circumferential measurements again. Often a circumferential reduction of 1″ or greater is observed.
The number of treatments required varies depending on the size of the area and the thickness of the fat layer. Typically, 6 sessions are needed. Additional treatments may be required to attain your desired results.
Can Treatment Results be accelerated?
Yes! Adding relaxing Pressotherapy immediately post-treatment and in between Ultrasound session significantly accelerates the released fat metabolism. Because we have seen the added benefits first-hand, each Ultrasound Cavitation treatment includes one FREE Pressotherapy session.
Combining Ultrasound Cavitation with Radiofrequency therapy enhances results as it not only targets unwanted fat but also acts on the connective tissue. Radiofrequency therapy eliminates old, denatured collagen bonds and fibers and stimulates the body to form new collagen. The result: improved skin elasticity and tightening.
There simply is not ONE device that does it all. The power lies in combination treatments – especially when treating cellulite. We have found the combination of Ultrasound Cavitation, Pressotherapy and Radiofrequency Therapy to be the most effective treatment combination for unsightly cellulite. Even patients with Cellulite Level 4 will notice improvements.
What areas can be treated?
All areas with localized fat can be successfully treated: thighs, abdomen, bra fat area, male chest, inner knee, arms, ‘love handles’ and buttocks.
Must you follow any guidelines before or after undergoing Ultrasound Cavitation?
We recommend a low fat diet and at least 80 oz of water before and after each session. Why? A low calorie diet will encourage the body to use the released fat for energy rather than the food you eat. After the session you will be asked to do light cardio exercise (brisk walk/jog) for about half an hour – again, to further mobilize the released fat.
