Learn More About the 8 Point Liquid Face Lift
What is Sculptra?
The primary ingredient in Sculptra® is polylactic acid, a synthetic substance replicating a natural substance that is created by muscles when a person exercises. Polylactic acid has seen many medical uses over the last two decades. Unlike other dermal fillers, which can last months, Sculptra® treatment can last up to two years. Sculptra® injections look very natural due to its natural collagen building activity, and lasts for about 2-3 years.
Benefits of Sculptra® Treatment
Because Sculptra® prompts the body to produce its own collagen, natural restoration of facial volume can be obtained. This ability to enhance collagen production also means that treatments are very long-lasting, up to two years. After results have subsided, the ingredients in Sculptra® are safely reabsorbed in the body.
What areas does Sculptra treat?
- Deep folds between the nose and mouth (nasal folds)
- Lines framing the mouth (marionette lines)
- Chin wrinkles and jawline
- Cheeks and cheekbones
How many treatments are required?
On average, a series of three treatment sessions over the course of a few months may be needed. The number of injections at each session will vary, depending on the degree of correction needed and the treatment plan determined by you and your specialist.
How soon will I see results?
Sculptra is designed to give you noticeable results that emerge gradually and can last more than two years. Don’t be disappointed if you don’t see immediate results. A few days after treatment, you may look as you did before treatment. This is normal and temporary. The Sculptra regimen delivers its full effects with an average of three treatment sessions over the course of a few months.
